Here is a bit about me and my journey …

  • started my yoga journey in 1996 after very stressful interior design job

  • teaching since 1998

  • originally from St. Charles, MO outside of St. Louis

  • had the first yoga studio in St. Charles County in 1999, moved classes to St. Charles Community College in 2002 where they still offer the classes to this date

  • created an onsite fitness program for several corporations

  • presenting and leading workshops for well over 20 years

  • moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 2004

  • received my Feng Shui Certification from the Western School of Feng Shui - 2004

  • 2006 I joined US Green Building Council chapter in Arizona and became part of an amazing team teaching about Sustainability practices to our local contractors, product manufacturers and sat on the local Board, was part of the host committee for the National Conference in 2009 and was recognized as a top volunteer in 2010.

  • in 2010 I went through a 9 month course, Sustainable Building Advisor, which then I became a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor and ran 4 programs within Phoenix Metro and in 2012 I ran the program in Los Angeles, CA

  • have opened the yoga departments at new facilities; Mountainside Fitness (Ice Den), LifeTime Fitness off Mayo and Life Power off Shea

  • have been with Fairmont Princess Resort since 2004 where I teach Wall Yoga and private groups, laughter yoga and spa parties

  • enjoy clients who are looking for more out of their bodies - more range of motion, more strength, more balance, more mental clarity, more happiness, be ready to laugh and breathe deeply

  • in addition to group classes, I also work with clients privately to give them the extra support they are searching for - this is a Goal Setting Journey to their level of expectation of where they want to be and we re evaluate each month

  • Thai Yoga Massage is another aspect of my services, where I do the work of stretching you out in a healing manner, not forced or pushing you too far beyond your limits. This is a floor based practice and I position you in a variety of movements similar to yoga and apply pressure along the meridian lines, similar to acupuncture. This Healing Practice is is calm, quiet and love it when clients snore!

  • I am also a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner who works with clients to find their best in life. This intention based energy medicine practice provides the client the opportunity to connect to a deeper level of healing through deep relaxation. Think of a Healing Touch Session as a Spiritual Nap. You remain fully clothed, rest on my treatment table (or better yet in the privacy of your own home) and integrate well into the evening and beyond, based on the intention you have created in our session.

  • Many of my clients are considered a Highly Sensitive Person or an Empath and I support them to get more grounded and not take on someone else’s energy or become a victim to a narcissist. I have been teaching my clients how to keep their Chakras supported and balanced, as well as tools to set better boundaries.

  • Anodea Judith, world known author and presenter is a mentor and I am a Healer and Yoga Teacher Graduate of her program Sacred Centers.

  • In 2015 I performed my first wedding for a friend, I have over 200 weddings under my belt at this point and enjoy watching the love of two people be witnessed in front of their family and friends. Wedding Officiant is another aspect of my life.
